Outdoor Water Use Registration Program

Welcome

Welcome to the Outdoor Water Use Registration Program.

This Program will inform you about waterSmart landscaping, test your knowledge, and allow you to print a certificate so that you may water your newly installed landscape.

Local water restrictions may differ, so check with your water provider for local regulations.

There are three ways to obtain your certificate. Each requires you to view a presentation and pass a quiz.

  • At your County Extension Office. You may visit your local County Extension Office to complete the Program. There is no cost for this option. You can locate your County Extension Office by calling 1-800-ASK-UGA1, or by visiting http://www.caes.uga.edu/extension/, then selecting "Local Offices."
  • At a retail garden center. Check with your local retail garden center. They may offer in-store options to complete the Program.
  • Online. You may complete the Program online by clicking the "Start Now" button at the bottom of this page. You will be directed to a secure PayPal window. A credit card is required to pay the convenience fee of $4.95 for this online option. You are not required to set up a PayPal account. Simply click "Continue" in the PayPal window to proceed without setting up an account. Once your PayPal transaction is approved, you must select the "Proceed to Outdoor Water Use Registration Program" button to continue the Program. You will need access to a printer to print your certificate.

Note: The Program, including the quiz, must be completed within 48 hours of payment.
